On my day shifts, I have to get up at 5am and that's about the only thing my stomach can handle. The days I get up at a humane hour, I will eat Mini Wheats or whole wheat toast and a boiled egg. I usually keep a bunch of boiled eggs in the fridge so I can just grab one.
